Which bug is best in Bug Evolution? Because higher-tier bugs have bigger stat bars, the game's own tier numbers are the best guide. This tier list combines those tiers with the levels and HP we saw in gameplay. It is our opinion and will change as T5 and T6 bugs are revealed.

Best bug for beginners
Garden Spider, because you get it free at Lv 12 and it carries you to Whispering Woods.
Best bug for bosses
A high-tier spider such as Wolf Spider, with the Thick Carapace trait (+12% Max Health).
Best bug for escaping
Flying forms (Young Fly, Mosquito) can take off with the FLY button.
How we rank
We use the in-game tier number first, then HP and level seen in gameplay. Exact stat numbers per bug are not published; the stat card shows bars for Speed, Health, Bite DMG, Bite SPD and Stamina without numbers. Robux spiders' stats are to be verified.
How we ranked the bugs
Bug Evolution does not show public stat numbers for every bug yet, so this tier list mainly follows each form's tier number in the Bug Tree. Gameplay clips back this up. A Lv 53 Wolf Spider had 966 HP and beat enemies that the lower forms struggle with. Forms in the same tier are ranked by what we saw in play. Tier 5 and Tier 6 are still hidden, so they sit in the "?" row until they are revealed.
Best bug for beginners
There is no choice at the start, because everyone begins as a Spiderling. The best early goal is the Garden Spider at Lv 12. Use the beginners guide route and level up fast with Night Hunt and quests.
Are Robux spiders worth it?
The five Robux spiders cost R$ 49 to R$ 79. Whether they beat the free Tier 3 and Tier 4 forms is to be verified, because we have not seen their stats. If you want to spend Robux on progress, Double XP [FOREVER] (R$ 199) helps every future form rather than just one.
