Bug Evolution is a fast-growing Roblox survival game where you start as a tiny spiderling and eat, fight and evolve your way up a Bug Tree full of spiders and other insects. This wiki is a complete, hand-checked guide: the codes status, every bug form we have confirmed, evolution levels, the fastest way to level up, quests, areas, bosses, traits, every Robux product with its real price, upcoming events and a tier list. Everything here comes from the official Roblox game page, public Roblox APIs, and gameplay videos, and anything we could not confirm is marked to be verified.

What is Bug Evolution?

Bug Evolution [🕷️] was created on October 9, 2026 by the Roblox group | Corgi Crew | (owner DiscountBananas, about 107,000 members). The official description reads: "Start as a tiny spider and evolve into a bunch of different bugs. Explore the world as a Spider, eat food to grow bigger and stronger, evolve into powerful new Spiders, discover new areas and challenges, become the strongest Spider! New bugs coming soon."

The game is listed in the Survival genre, holds up to 15 players per server, does not allow private servers, and forces R15 avatars into bug form. On October 28, 2026 (~11 PM PKT) the Roblox API showed about 12,900 players online, 1.44 million visits, 9,065 favourites and a 69% like ratio (2,714 up / 1,225 down). It was last updated on October 27, 2026 at 9:57 PM PKT. Tracking sites place it in Roblox's Up-and-Coming chart.

Unlike older bug simulators (Bug Simulator, Little World, Insect Evolution), Bug Evolution is built around a real-time open world: you control your bug directly, bite food and other bugs, survive night hunts, and fight area bosses together with up to 14 other players.

Bug Evolution codes

There are no Bug Evolution codes right now. We checked on October 28, 2026: the game description lists no codes, none of the gameplay we reviewed shows a code box, and code trackers such as newtoplay.com and bugevolution.wiki also report zero. NoobBlox's guide has "Codes" in its title, but that is a search-friendly title, not a code list. If codes appear we will add them to the Bug Evolution codes page the same day.

Until then the free boosts are: the +500 Invite reward on the Invite button, coin rewards from Quick and Hourly quests, Night Hunt 2x XP, and boss traits.

How to start (beginner guide)

  1. Follow the tutorial. A 6-step tutorial runs when you join. Step 5 is "Eat some food — bite an acorn or cocoon until it breaks". Yellow arrows point you to the target.
  2. Bite everything small. Acorns, silk cocoons, ants, crickets and beetles all give XP. Each hit shows an XP popup (for example "+23 XP" from an acorn).
  3. Watch the level bar. The bottom bar shows your bug name and next evolution, for example "SPIDERLING · Garden Spider at Lv 12".
  4. Evolve at the shown level. At Lv 12 the Spiderling can become a Garden Spider.
  5. Move to Whispering Woods at Lv 15+. The area banner shows the level requirement.
  6. Keep a quest running at all times. Quick quests pay 40–150 coins each.

The core loop

How Bug Evolution works: 1. Eat Bite acorns, cocoons, ants, crickets, beetles; 2. Level up XP fills the bar; each level makes you bigger; 3. Evolve Hit the level shown on the HUD, then Evolve; 4. Explore Sunny Meadow → Whispering Woods (Lv 15+) → more; 5. Boss Beat
How Bug Evolution works. Illustration by bugevolutionroblox.wiki, not an in-game screenshot

Every session in Bug Evolution follows the same loop: eat → gain XP → level up → evolve → move to a harder area → beat a boss → pick a trait. Each level makes your bug physically bigger ("Level up — you grow bigger!" appears on screen), and each evolution changes your model and stats. Coins come from quests and are used in the Bug Tree to unlock forms.

How to level up fast

  • Night Hunt = 2x XP. A "NIGHT HUNT · 2x XP" banner appears at night. Save your grinding for it.
  • Stack quests. Quick quests (bite ants, eat crickets/beetles, crack acorns, tear silk cocoons, survive 7 minutes) and Hourly quests run together.
  • Eat the biggest safe food. Acorns and cocoons take several bites but give more XP.
  • Turn on Auto Atk while you steer between food piles.
  • Fight bosses with a group. One clip shows a player going from Lv 149 to 153 after killing the Emperor Scorpion.

Stats & traits

Every bug has five stats: Speed, Health, Bite DMG, Bite SPD and Stamina. After some boss kills you get a "CHOOSE A TRAIT" screen. Two traits are confirmed: Skitter (sprint costs −25% stamina, Health +4%) and Thick Carapace (Max Health +12%). See Stats & abilities and Traits.

Maps & areas

Each area shows a name banner when you enter. Confirmed so far: Sunny Meadow (start, no level tag) and Whispering Woods (Lv 15+). Gameplay also shows a giant-mushroom zone, a sandy desert, and a castle hill. Underground Caves is teased as a new map for November 19. Details: Maps & areas.

Bosses

A red "BOSS FIGHT – WHISPERING WOODS" banner, a boss timer and a skull on the minimap mean a boss has spawned. The confirmed boss is the Emperor Scorpion; "THE EMPEROR SCORPION FELL!" shows when it dies. A desert sandworm boss is scheduled for November 9. See Bosses.

Quests & coins

The QUEST panel has Quick, Hourly and Tracking tabs. Examples: Bite 14 Ants (+42), Eat 17 Crickets (+56), Stay alive for 7 minutes (+57), Eat 19 Beetles (+64), Reach Level 30 (+150). See Quests.

Eggs & keeping levels

Bugs can Lay Egg, and the Robux shop sells Spawn Egg Now (R$19) and Hatch Now (R$49), so eggs are part of how you continue or restart a bug. Keep Levels (R$29) and Keep Levels [OP] (R$99) suggest you normally lose levels on some reset (likely death or evolving) to be verified. See Eggs & hatching.
