Bug Evolution Stats, Controls & Abilities

Every bug in Bug Evolution has five stats and a set of action buttons that change with your form. Here's what each one does.

The five stats

Speed	Movement speed
Health	Max HP (e.g. 99 at Lv 5, 313 at Lv 17, 966 at Lv 53)
Bite DMG	Damage per bite
Bite SPD	How fast you bite
Stamina	How long you can run

The stat card in the Bug Tree shows these as coloured bars (seen for the Housefly at Lv 17).

Controls & action buttons

Button	Function
BITE (LMB)	Attack food and bugs.
RUN (Shift)	Sprint; uses stamina.
AUTO ATK	Auto-bite nearby targets.
FLY / DOWN	Fly forms take off and land.
PROBOSCIS	Fly-type ability on Young Fly; effect to be verified.
ADULT ONLY	Ability slot locked until your bug is adult to be verified.
LAY EGG	Lay an egg; see Eggs & hatching.
HUNT	Seen on Wolf Spider at Lv 53; effect to be verified.
LV 100	Locked ability slot that unlocks at level 100.

Traits

Bosses give traits that boost stats, for example Skitter (−25% sprint stamina cost, +4% Health) and Thick Carapace (+12% Max Health). See Traits.

What each stat does

Speed: how fast your bug moves. It helps you reach food and escape.
Health: how much damage you can take. A Lv 53 Wolf Spider had 966 HP.
Bite DMG: damage per bite.
Bite SPD: how often you bite.
Stamina: how long you can Run. The Skitter trait lowers its cost by 25%.

PC vs mobile controls

On PC you bite with the left mouse button and run with Shift. On mobile you get big BITE, RUN and AUTO ATK buttons on the right side, and the Bugs, Team and Title buttons on the left. Console support is to be verified.
